Grateful Friday Saturday Sunday

This tine ........

I am grateful for my first cup of tea for the day. I have been getting dressed then going out to make one. I am more awake then and I am usually feeling pretty cute in my chosen work outfit.
I am grateful for my make up routine. I love wearing make up and putting it on at 4:30 in the morning gives me so much joy. I can't really see what I am doing but I am told it looks great and it lasts all day.
I am grateful that my day went quite quickly on Friday. I really wanted to get home as soon as possible. I just needed to be home. No particular reason.
I am grateful I have my new PJ's to put on. They are cute, make me feel cosy and and cool and are practical.
I am grateful pa and the older sibling when out to the local club for dinner and a flutter on Keno and wait for the badge draw, This is to see if his number gets drawn for a prize. While they didn't win they were all excited to have gone.
I am grateful that I got to sleep in on Saturday.
I am grateful I booked a massage for my my sister and brother inlaw. My massage only costs $2 which is great. I didn't want it to finish. It felt so good.
I am grateful I got some study done and finished most of my assignment.
I am grateful I had a nana nap to get warm for an hour or so. That felt great.
I am grateful I was able to give pa a sedative to help him sleep. I also took one and slept like a baby but didn't sleep in as much as I would have liked.
I am grateful Everything was silent when I got up.
I am grateful I finished my assignment and I submitted it.
I am grateful pas slept well last night.
I am grateful that everyone seems to be in a good mood.
I am grateful I did some extra study
I am grateful I am now able to go in and have a nana nap.

Grateful for this Tuesday

I can't believe I survived. Training aka 'death by PowerPoint' was incredibly boring but it was a day out of the office. I am so grateful I found my way there without panic and that there were some friendly faces. I then finished the day with a meeting which didn't finish until 6:45. A very long day indeed. Universe 1) I am grateful I left home early because the traffic was really bad. 2) I am grateful I found my way ok and didn't get into too much of a panic 3) I am grateful there was still parking available when I got there. 4) I am grateful I had some friendly faces in the training session with me. 5) I am grateful I finished my day with a meeting with a fabulous business stakeholder. I am also grateful that the additional 2.5hrs that I worked today wasn't a struggle at all. This means I can put those hours over to Friday and leave early. Blessings

Break almost complete

I needed a break from gratitude. I guess it is during times like this that a break is the last thing I should be doing. I should really focus on gratitude when my mood is in a real downward spiral. I just couldn't cope trying to think of things. When I first got back to gratitude I wrote a list of things I could use if I was in a funk which was a huge list but I just couldn't face it. I feel like a fraud if I have to struggle to find things or go to a list to find something to fill up space on a page. Anyway, I am starting to feel less pressure personally and a little more positive so I will go back to gratitude on Monday. It is Thursday today. I just want to clear my mind of as much crap as possible. It is starting to get there. CYA soon

Grateful for this Thursday

Today.... I am grateful that I am working from home today. It is in stead of my usual Wednesday. I am grateful that my day has been stress free. I wanted some chill time I am grateful to be having steak and salad for dinner tonight. It is just what I feel like. I am grateful that when I washed my hair the crusty dried fluid from the blisters after bleaching the shit out of my hair actually washed out which is fabulous. I am grateful that I like my hair. I didn't quite like it yesterday. No, that isn't quite true. I didn't hate it but I wasn't used to it and i thought it was a little drastic. I do like it today and I will have fun playing with my make up to get the colouring right.
