Grateful Friday

I am grateful its Friday. Hooray. I am grateful for the nice messages and calls since my 'coming out' as having a mental illness. I am grateful that my 'coming out' hasn't backfired on me. I am grateful for my sister taking me to the station. She is quite bubbly at that early time in the morning so the trip wakes me up I am grateful I am in the office today and I am enjoying the peace and quiet for a while. Yes, I love working from home, but I am just in the mood to be at work. I am grateful for my scarf that I knitted. It is so warm and soft. Let's hope I can eventually knit well enough to knit some gloves.

Grateful Wednesday and Thursday

I am grateful for the fact I have been able to work from home the past 2 days. I am grateful for my early morning cup of tea in silence. I am grateful that the dentist did a temporary fix on my tooth today and will pull out next week. I am grateful for the pancake I had for breakfast thanks to Pa and his desire for pancakes too. I am grateful I was able to have an early night last night. I am grateful to be able to listen to the radio while I work. It makes the day go nicely I am grateful that Pa seems to be in a good mood the past couple of days. I am grateful for my computer glasses. I see so much better with them. I am grateful I have been able to complete some work. Some days the workload is quite low but recently the work has been coming in quite fast so I have plenty to occupy my day without being stressful. I am grateful for the array of colour on my desk. Pencils pens notebooks all make me feel great.

Grateful Tuesday

I am grateful for our public holiday. It was great to have an extra days break. I am grateful for a Tuesday start of the week. I am grateful my article got well received from our departmental news letter I am grateful for our team lunch. It was great to get out of the office. I am grateful I didn't need to eat dinner last night as I was still full from lunch. I am grateful I didn't throw up lunch. I am grateful for my treat I ate last night. Delicious I am grateful for the 2.5kg weight loss last week.

Digital detox updates

I gave myself a digital detox this weekend. I had Friday off work and Monday was a public holiday so it seemed like a great place to start. So here is my grateful list fro Friday through Sunday I am grateful I wake up early on the weekends. A cup of tea in silence is the best cup of tea you can have. I am really grateful for the time I wake up and go into the lounge. Nobody to disturb me for at least 2 hrs except the dog but after a few pats she gets the message. I am grateful I can knit. I finished a scarf this weekend and while my gloves are driving me a bit bonkers I am not getting to frustrated. I have restarted about 7 times but I think I have it now. I am grateful that my family was around to keep me company. I am grateful I didn't yell at my nephew when he was being annoying with attitude. I am grateful for my coffee date with my sister. I am grateful for the roast lamb pa made us on Sunday. I am grateful our menu got sorted for the week without drama. I am
